A HUGE YEAR IN JUNIPER
We have been living in Juniper for a year now. We did share our gorgeous friend, Kylie’s house but we still slept in the bus every day. Well actually, 3 night I slept in the shed house in Qld when I felt sick. I would love to keep this blog in order, but that is not how my brain works. This is Bremer Bay, WA. It was very nice. We met a great family from Kiama, NSW and their little boy stole my heart. He had me laughing and I still smile when I think about his beautiful little face. He was like a perfect little energy! Bremer Bay will always be about meeting the best camp neighbours.
SINGLETON BEACH
This is the beach near Kylie’s house. It is nice when the conditions are right. It has big drop offs that scare me with the dogs and some days it is perfect. Yesterday I did have a baby brown slither past me as I was kneeling down, reaching through the fence to pick up Holly’s poop though!!! Adds to the adventure, doesn’t it?
WE ARE NOMADS - FALCON, WA
We arrived at Kylie’s on Oct 23. Pete went to work at the beginning of Nov and he has had about 3 weeks off I think. I have not been into photography like I was. I am so used to being with Pete and feeling inspired. The bank account is loving it but our hearts are not. We have had a couple of trips to Margaret River to see Nick, Caz, Molly and Magic Jack and it was great….then they headed off back east!!! I will add to this story in time!! It was also a record breaking summer here. Hot is an understatement. Come on winter!!!
WE ARE NOMADS - WESTERN AUSTRALIA
I will be breaking down WA now into sections. We are here for a while whilst Pete does contracting work. It was a huge journey to get here. Time is flying and we arrived to Kylie’s after being on the road for 1 month.
WE ARE NOMADS - SOUTH AUSTRALIA
We slowed down in Sth Australia because it was a lot cooler than the outback. I can’t believe people can live in such hot places and be happy. I am an old, menopausal woman now. No way can I cope like I did when I was young, living in Townsville. We also got back to the coast for a while and our souls love the ocean.

WE ARE NOMADS - QLD TO NT
We left Queensland to head to Western Australia in September last year. I am behind in the blogging so it will be a trip back in time for me. We had to have a huge detour around because of the restrictions WA had with us going through New South Wales. We also had to be in the NT and SA for 14 days, 15 really. Pete drove the bus and I drove his car. It was one huge drive, especially for Pete with no aircon in the bus through the outback. I will let the photos do the talking.
WE ARE NOMADS - HARRINGTON, CROWDY HEAD, CRESCENT HEAD, SCOTTS HEAD AND MORE
One day is running into the next at the moment. Have to remember when we stayed somewhere and what we did. I did buy a travel diary but it is not working out. It isn’t writing down my thoughts all by itself!!!! At the moment we are in Scotts Head, NSW. It is a gorgeous reflections park. We have lovely neighbours in Bradd and Matt. Bradd is the chatty one like me. Poor Pete and Matt. Today I finally crashed and had an afternoon nap. So now, I had better not keep thinking and start sharing photos.
WE ARE NOMADS - SHELLHARBOUR AND BASS POINT
I love Bass Point. The break is called the shallows. It is like being in Indonesia, black sand. Sea urchins galore. Great waves. Shellharbour harbour gets really wild too.

What a gorgeous beach. I was blown away!!! This is part 1. Yesterday we were there and today I went back once and Pete went back twice.
WE ARE NOMADS - MERIMBULA AND BERMAGUI
We left Wonthaggi on the 29th of April. It is still surreal. We are trying to get into a rhythm. It isn’t working at this point. I am loving living in Juniper. We have seen some gorgeous places already. I am finally having a little bit of time to blog. I was hoping to try to get them in order but who am I kidding…I will post what I feel like at the time.
WE ARE NOMADS - KIAMA, STANWELL TOPS, BLACKSMITHS AND MEREWETHER
We had a visit with the Foxes. Stayed for 4 days while it bucketed down…thanks guys!!!! Adam and Ash…thanks so much again. We met 1/5th of The Good Life Griffiths when we were in the Illawarra. I have been talking to Sam for a while now. I love that guy!!! Popped up for a visit and met him and his Dad. We will meet again one day I hope. We have been to Blacksmiths a few times now. It is great. The beaches are really clean and nice. People are friendly. The caravan park is in a handy spot. Merewether…what can I say….wow. That can be a blog post all on it’s own. My writing is all over the shop, I am tired and hungry. Pete is coming back from a second surf today. I can’t leave the dogs in the bus and can’t go to the camp kitchen to fry up some chicken in Mexican spices….hurry Pete!!!!
GOLD COAST AND BYRON BAY
I went up to the Gold Coast to meet up with a group of photographers in 2018. I better put those photos here to look back on to keep me inspired to keep shooting.
PROVENCE, FRANCE
For my 50th, Pete and I went to Paris, to see Alison and family and to see Chris and Mike. It was almost 3.5 years ago. Loved our time there. It was the best trip ever!!!
PHILLIP ISLAND, VIC
We live very close to Phillip Island for now. So many gorgeous places on the island. I wish we can take the dogs on all of the beaches there to explore more.
FRANCE
My great, great grandfather came from Antibes. It was so beautiful to go and walk in the places that he would have walked. I am so grateful for the work on our family tree that my great Auntie Chrissy did for us all. I also have the little old town that Pete’s cousin Mike and Chris lived in and Nice.
